Blood test may predict Chemo's hidden heart risk

NCT ID NCT05507879

Summary

This study aims to understand why some breast cancer patients develop heart problems after certain chemotherapy drugs. Researchers will collect blood samples from 200 patients to look for a specific marker (TRPC6) that might predict this risk. The goal is to learn how to identify patients early so doctors can better protect their heart health during and after cancer treatment.
