Summary
This study aims to see if giving methadone based on a person's genes can reduce side effects like breathing problems, nausea, and sedation while still controlling pain after heart surgery. It will include 400 adults over 60 years old. Researchers will track pain levels, opioid use, and patient-reported outcomes to find the safest and most effective approach.
