This study will test whether giving methadone based on a patient's genes can reduce opioid side effects like nausea, vomiting, and breathing problems while improving pain control. Researchers will enroll 400 adults over 60 having heart surgery. The goal is to find the safest, most effective way to manage pain after surgery.
