NCT ID NCT07561138

First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study is testing whether eating protein evenly throughout the day combined with exercise can improve nutrition, muscle mass, and physical function in 90 adults waiting for a liver transplant. Participants are randomly assigned to one of three groups: even protein distribution plus exercise, uneven protein distribution plus exercise, or standard advice. The goal is to see if these interventions can reduce malnutrition and frailty before surgery.
