Summary

This study looks at whether a rapid point-of-care test for the pregnancy hormone HCG can confirm that a very early medical abortion (before 6 weeks) has worked sooner than the usual 7-day wait. About 130 participants will have their HCG levels checked on day 0 and again between days 2-4, comparing results to the standard day 7 test. The goal is to see if this faster check is accurate and acceptable to staff, potentially simplifying follow-up and improving access.
