Summary
This study looks at how placebos (inactive treatments) affect the brains of people recovering from stroke. Researchers will give placebos openly or secretly to 56 adults with chronic stroke and measure brain activity with EEG. The goal is to understand how placebos work in the brain, which could lead to better rehabilitation methods.
