New injection tested to help control advanced liver disease

Summary
This is an early-stage study to test the safety and dosing of a new drug called PHIN-214 in people with liver cirrhosis. The drug is given as an injection under the skin, first as a single dose and then as daily doses for up to 28 days. The main goal is to see how much of the drug is safe to give and how the body handles it, with the hope it may help reduce pressure in the liver's blood vessels.
