NCT ID NCT05842122
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested different ways to offer HIV prevention pills (PrEP) at pharmacies in Kenya. Over 5,800 people took part across 60 pharmacies. The goal was to see if getting PrEP directly at the pharmacy, instead of being sent to a clinic, helps more people start and keep taking the medication. Results will show which approach works best for expanding access.
