First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether offering HIV prevention pills (PrEP) directly at pharmacies helps more people start and keep taking them. Over 5,800 people in Kenya took part across 60 pharmacies. Some pharmacies provided PrEP on-site, while others referred people to clinics. The goal was to see which method works best for increasing access to HIV prevention.
