Custom brain zaps aim to silence chronic ringing in the ears

Summary
This study tests whether a personalized form of brain stimulation (TMS) can better relieve chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears) than standard TMS. About 116 adults with bothersome tinnitus for over 6 months will receive five days of stimulation. The goal is to see if targeting each person's unique brain activity reduces symptoms more effectively and safely.
