Summary

This study tests whether massaging the perineal muscles with a pelvic wand during late pregnancy and labor helps women feel more in control during childbirth and improves pelvic recovery. About 140 pregnant women planning to give birth at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center will participate. The goal is to see if this simple technique can reduce injury and pain while empowering mothers.
