New drug combo shows promise for rare salivary gland cancer

Summary
This study tests whether combining the chemotherapy drug pemetrexed with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab can shrink or control advanced salivary gland cancer that has returned or spread. About 45 adults with this rare cancer will receive the combination treatment. The goal is to see how many patients benefit and to monitor side effects.
