New drug combo shows promise for rare salivary gland cancer

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs—pemetrexed (chemotherapy) and pembrolizumab (immunotherapy)—in people with salivary gland cancer that has returned or spread. The goal is to see if this combo can shrink tumors or slow the disease. About 45 adults with advanced salivary gland cancer are taking part.
