First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested the safety of combining two drugs (pembrolizumab and vorinostat) with standard chemotherapy and radiation in 21 people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. The goal was to find the highest safe dose of vorinostat in this combination. While the drugs are approved for other cancers, they are not yet approved for glioblastoma.
