Can talking to peers ease anxiety for those on hormone therapy?

Summary

This study aims to see if a peer support program is helpful and practical for improving mental health in people receiving hormone care. It will enroll 100 adults in Michigan who are starting or receiving hormone treatment and report mild depression or anxiety. Participants will be randomly assigned to either join the peer support program (with in-person or virtual meetings) or receive enhanced usual care for 6 months.
