Can a friendly guide help people with HIV stay in care?

NCT ID NCT07200973

Summary

This study aims to see if trained peer guides can help people living with HIV who also use substances stay connected to their medical care in Los Angeles. Researchers will work with 250 participants to test if this support makes it easier to attend appointments and take medication, which can improve health. The goal is to reduce barriers like transportation and complex healthcare systems.
