Summary

This study aims to see if trained peer guides can help people living with HIV who also use substances stay connected to their medical care in Los Angeles. Researchers will work with 250 participants to test whether having a supportive person who understands their experiences helps them attend appointments and take medication. The goal is to improve health by reducing barriers like transportation and navigating complex healthcare systems.
