NCT ID NCT07517120

First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a home-based stroke rehabilitation program called PEER-HOMEcare is practical and helpful for adults recovering from stroke. The program adapts the home environment with support from therapists and family to encourage brain recovery and engagement. About 45 participants in Norway, Sweden, and Latvia will take part in the first six months after their stroke. The goal is to see if this approach improves participation and recovery, and if it can be used more widely.
