NCT ID NCT07517120
First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a home-based stroke rehabilitation program called PEER-HOMEcare is practical and helpful for adults recovering from a stroke. The program involves therapists and family members creating a stimulating home environment to support recovery. About 45 participants from Norway, Sweden, and Latvia will take part in the first six months after their stroke. The goal is to see if this approach improves engagement and recovery, not to cure the stroke.
