Summary

This study looks at why some children with high blood pressure develop heart or kidney damage. Researchers will measure certain chemicals in the blood and urine of 125 children aged 7-18 with a new diagnosis of high blood pressure, as well as healthy children. The goal is to better understand the causes of high blood pressure and its effects on the body, which could lead to better treatments in the future.
