NCT ID NCT07504549
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study will test a special care plan called ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) in 60 children having planned intestinal surgery. The plan includes steps to reduce stress from surgery, start eating sooner, and manage pain better. Researchers will compare these children to a group who had standard care to see if the ERAS plan leads to fewer complications and a shorter hospital stay.
