New Clot-Busting catheter trial aims to improve lung recovery

Summary
This study compares two treatments for people with a serious but stable blood clot in the lungs (submassive pulmonary embolism). Half of the 500 participants will receive standard blood thinners alone, while the other half will also get a catheter procedure to remove the clot. The goal is to see if the catheter treatment improves exercise ability and heart function over time.
