First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looked at 120 healthy children aged 4-7 with deep cavities in their baby molars. Dentists removed the top part of the tooth's nerve and used one of three special materials to cover it, then filled the tooth with either a simple filling or a metal crown. The goal was to see which material and restoration method worked best to keep the tooth healthy and pain-free.
