First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study follows 150 people with early-stage Parkinson's disease to see how symptoms like walking problems and thinking changes differ between two types: one that starts in the brain and one that starts in the body. Participants will have yearly check-ups, brain scans, and tests for 5 years. The goal is to better understand the disease and help create more personalized treatments.
