Summary
This study tested whether adding a drug called paricalcitol (similar to vitamin D) to standard chemotherapy could help people with advanced pancreatic cancer that had stopped responding to treatment. 27 adults with metastatic pancreatic cancer took part. The goal was to see if the combination could improve disease control or symptoms.
