First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving pregnant doctors-in-training extra support—like a smart bassinet, wearable breast pump, 24/7 online perinatal care, and a mentor—helps them feel less burned out and more fulfilled. About 156 pregnant trainees took part, with some getting the extra support and others getting standard help. Researchers tracked sleep with a Fitbit and used surveys to measure wellbeing, professional satisfaction, and medical errors.
