NCT ID NCT07155525

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special surgical glue (modified N-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate) during pancreas surgery can reduce the risk of a dangerous leak from the pancreas. About 194 people with pancreatic or related cancers who have a soft pancreas will be randomly assigned to receive the glue or standard care. The main goal is to see if the glue lowers the rate of pancreatic leaks within 30 days after surgery.
