Summary
This study looked at whether measuring a hormone called pancreatic polypeptide can help doctors tell the difference between type 1 diabetes and type 3c diabetes (diabetes caused by pancreas damage). Thirty-six adults with diabetes took part. The goal was to improve how diabetes is classified, not to test a new treatment.
