Enzyme pills may help severe pancreatitis patients regain weight

Summary
This study tests whether taking pancreatic enzyme pills helps patients with severe acute necrotizing pancreatitis regain lost weight and improve quality of life. About 140 adults aged 18-60 with significant pancreatic damage and weight loss will receive either the enzyme or a placebo for 3 months. The main goal is to see if the treatment leads to better weight recovery.
