Summary

This study tests whether taking pancreatic enzyme pills can help people with severe acute pancreatitis regain weight. The trial includes 140 adults aged 18-60 who have lost at least 5% of their body weight due to the disease. Participants will receive either the enzyme pills or a placebo for 3 months, and researchers will measure weight changes and quality of life.
