New toolkit helps Alzheimer's caregivers decode pain

Summary
This study tests a training program called the Pain Identification and Communication Toolkit (PICT) for family caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. The program teaches caregivers how to spot signs of pain and talk about it with doctors. Researchers will enroll 440 caregivers to see if the training improves pain recognition and communication.
