First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to decide when surgery patients need extra pain medicine. One method uses a standard pain score, while the other also considers how much pain limits movement. The goal is to give painkillers only when truly needed, reducing overtreatment. About 76 adults having scheduled surgery will take part.
