NSAIDs just as good as opioid for Post-Surgery pain?

NCT ID NCT07500454

First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether common anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) work as well as a weak opioid (tramadol) for pain after minimally invasive surgery. Thirty adults were given one of three pain medicines before surgery. Their pain levels were checked for 90 minutes after surgery. The goal was to see if NSAIDs could be a good alternative to opioids for managing short-term pain.
