New painkiller showdown: which works better after gallbladder surgery?

Summary

This study compares two pain-relief medicines given during gallbladder surgery to see which one works better and helps patients recover faster. About 86 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder removal will receive either liposomal bupivacaine or ropivacaine as a nerve block. Researchers will measure pain levels, recovery quality, and side effects for up to 3 months after surgery.
