First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compares two methods to manage pain after hip surgery: a fascia iliaca block (an injection near the hip nerves) and intrathecal nalbuphine (a painkiller given with spinal anesthesia). The goal is to see which approach keeps patients comfortable longer after surgery. The trial will enroll 120 adults who are in good health aside from needing hip surgery.
