First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study compared two types of nerve blocks (ISPB and ESPB) to see which provides better pain relief for adults undergoing elective neck surgery. A total of 102 participants were randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The main goal was to measure how much opioid pain medication was needed during and after surgery. The results may help improve pain management and reduce opioid use in spine surgery.
