First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested two different nerve blocks to control pain after elective neck surgery. 102 adults received either an inter-semispinal fascial plane block or an erector spinae plane block before surgery. The goal was to see which block reduced the need for opioid painkillers during and after the operation. Results will help doctors choose the best pain relief method for faster recovery.
