First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compared two ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (edge of laminar block and erector spinae plane block) for pain relief after video-assisted chest surgery. 70 adults were randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks. The main goal was to see which block reduced the need for morphine after surgery. Results help doctors choose the best pain control method for this type of surgery.
