First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new type of nerve block, called SPSIPB, can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after heart surgery. About 120 adults having elective heart surgery will either receive this block or standard care. The goal is to see if the block leads to less pain, faster recovery, and fewer side effects.
