Diet and exercise may ease rare lung disease

NCT ID NCT03288025

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a healthy diet and exercise program can help people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious lung condition. The idea is that improving how the body handles sugar (insulin sensitivity) might also improve blood flow in the lungs. About 34 adults with stable PAH will take part, and researchers will measure changes in insulin sensitivity and heart function.
