Diet and exercise may ease rare lung disease

NCT ID NCT03288025

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a healthy diet and exercise program can improve symptoms for people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious lung condition. The idea is that better diet and exercise may help the body use insulin more effectively, which could in turn improve blood flow in the lungs. About 34 adults with stable PAH are taking part in this research at the Cleveland Clinic.
