Can a fitbit and weekly talks boost activity after stroke?

NCT ID NCT06679803

First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study explores whether a new program called PA-ChatS can help people become more physically active within the first 6 weeks after a stroke. About 25 participants will wear a Fitbit to track steps and meet weekly with an occupational therapist. The goal is to see if people stick with the program and find it helpful, not to test a cure or treatment.
