Summary
This study tested whether adding ozone gas to standard deep cleaning improves treatment for severe gum disease. 39 adults received either standard cleaning alone or cleaning plus ozone. The goal was to see if ozone kills more bacteria and improves gum healing. Results may help people with hard-to-treat gum infections.
