Tumor slices could predict chemo success in ovarian cancer
NCT ID NCT06065358
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether thin slices of ovarian tumors grown in a lab can predict how well a patient will respond to chemotherapy. Researchers will test drugs on these slices and compare the results to the patient's actual treatment outcome. If successful, this approach could help doctors choose the most effective drugs for each person. The study involves 48 adults with advanced ovarian cancer.
