Tumor slices could predict ovarian cancer treatment success

Summary
This study explores a new way to predict how ovarian cancer will respond to chemotherapy. Researchers take thin slices of a patient's tumor and test different drugs on them in the lab. The goal is to see if this method can accurately forecast which treatment will work best for each person. About 48 women with advanced ovarian cancer will participate.
