New drug-radiation combo offers hope for lung cancer patients who can't take chemo

Summary
This study tests a drug called osimertinib, which targets a specific genetic change in lung cancer cells. It is given before and after radiation therapy to people with stage III lung cancer who cannot have or refuse chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach helps control the cancer longer. About 60 adults will take part.
