Summary
This study looks at whether taking multiple saliva samples over time can better detect Barrett's esophagus, a condition that raises the risk of esophageal cancer. Researchers will collect saliva from 275 adults who have had or are scheduled for an upper endoscopy. The goal is to see if a bacteria-based test from the mouth can reliably identify who has Barrett's esophagus.
