Better brushing, better sleep: simple oral care lessons boost life quality for home ventilator patients
NCT ID NCT07211906
Summary
This study tested whether teaching better oral hygiene to people who use a non-invasive breathing machine at home could improve their health and daily life. Researchers gave one group of patients specific instructions on oral care over three months, while another group received their usual care. The results showed that patients who received the education had significantly better oral health, slept better, and reported a higher quality of life.
