NCT ID NCT05333978
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a new imaging device called MSOT that uses light and sound to detect inflammation in people with graft-versus-host disease, Crohn's disease, or colitis. About 29 adults took part to see if the scan is safe and can spot inflammation in the skin or gut. The goal was to see if this painless, non-invasive method could one day replace biopsies or blood tests.
