Summary

This study tested an online mentoring program for transgender and gender minority youth ages 14 to 18. The program paired each teen with an adult transgender mentor for seven group sessions focused on building social and emotional skills. The goal was to prevent problems like drug use, sexual violence, depression, and anxiety. The study enrolled 56 participants across the United States.
