First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether omega-3 fatty acid supplements can reduce joint pain and stiffness caused by aromatase inhibitor therapy in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor positive breast cancer. 77 participants took omega-3 supplements soon after starting their cancer medication. The goal was to see if this approach helps patients tolerate treatment better and avoid stopping it due to side effects.
